| Autotask Training Overview |
Autotask offers a comprehensive training program to all customers consisting of a series of self-paced recordings and instructor-led classes delivered on the web.
The curriculum is broken into two phases:

Phase I Training Phase I is designed to get customers up and running with Autotask and focuses on the topics required for a successful implementation. All Autotask Users are strongly encouraged to complete Phase I training for all appropriate modules before they begin using Autotask.
Phase I Training includes:
- Admin/Setup Training: "Overview of Autotask" recording plus Live session
- CRM: Account and Sales Management
- Contracts –Billing Arrangements Creation and Application
- Projects I – Project Creation and Task Completion
- Service Desk I – Ticket Creation and Completion
- Billing – Approve, Invoice, and Export
Admin/Setup training is delivered as a one-on-one training session with your Implementation Manager, and will be individually scheduled. The other modules are offered as instructor-led group sessions Monday through Friday at 11:30AM Eastern. Phase I classes last 1 hour. A written case study will accompany the sessions, and the required chapters should be read before class starts.
Phase II Training Phase II Training can be taken either on the same day users take the corresponding Phase I module, or at any time thereafter, even if your implementation is already complete. We recommend that users have completed Phase I and gained some experience using Autotask for maximum benefit from this class, as the focus is on more advanced topics.
Phase II Training includes:
- Projects II: Project Management
- Service Desk II: Service Desk Management
Phase II training assumes that the corresponding Phase I class has been attended. Sessions are offered as instructor-led group sessions on the same days as the corresponding Phase I training sessions, at 2:30PM Eastern. Phase II classes last about 1 hour. Attendees should have read the entire case study.
Registration for all sessions is online. Users can access the Training Registration page from the Autotask Customer Resource Center > Training menu. We recommend that your Autotask System Administrators participate in the entire curriculum.
