The Revolution
AutotaskExtend is a revolutionary enhancement to Autotask. It provides you with a set of tools that you can use to create extensions that extend the core functions of Autotask, access your data from outside the application, intelligently link to other applications, and much more.
The "Building Blocks"
AutotaskExtend includes a set of tools, APIs and web services that allow you to intelligently connect Autotask to other applications, access your Autotask data from outside the application, and even change the way you navigate around inside of Autotask.
There are currently four building blocks to work with. More will be added shortly.

Autotask LiveLinks Designer™
The "star" of the AutotaskExtend show. With this new tool you can create inside of Autotask intelligent hyperlinks that launch other web sites or applications with context-sensitive data pushed out from Autotask. |

ExecuteCommand API
This is our recently-released API, which allows you to launch content-specific Autotask windows from any application or web site that can generate an http: address - or from inside Autotask itself, from one part of the application to another!

The Community
 At the same time, as an Autotask customer you will have full access to AutotaskExtend Network (AXN™), a web portal for the community of Autotask customers, partners and third-party developers who want to exchange ideas, information, and tips related to this new toolkit, and even share the extensions they create.
AXN includes a comprehensive catalog stocked with a large selection of Autotask extensions - most of them available at no additional cost - that enhance Autotask to help you run your business, better. It also keeps you up-to-date on new AutotaskExtend tools as they are released, new extensions as they become available, and forums and blogs we're producing to stimulate ideas, discussion, and innovation around the AutotaskExtend toolkit.
Also, as an Autotask customer, you will have full access to the Members Only sections of the site, which includes a rich library of resources - including user guides, sample applications, and technical documentation. You'll also be able to participate in the Forums feature, which allows you to connect with other Autotask users just like you, on key topics that will help you make the most of Autotask and AutotaskExtend.
