Netsurit, South Africa’s Largest SMB IT Provider, Selects Autotask to Manage Its Business Better
- Autotask chosen after comprehensive due diligence process
EAST GREENBUSH, NY - Netsurit (Pty) Ltd has selected Autotask Corporation, the leading hosted business management software for IT service companies, as its IT service management solution.
Netsurit is South Africa ’s largest managed outsourced IT provider specializing in small and medium businesses (SMBs). With a staff of 160, Netsurit provides a full range of services to businesses with 5 to 250 PCs.
“It took us about six months to decide what solution we were going to adopt,” said Peter Jacobs, new business director for Netsurit. “The process, which involved all our internal and external stakeholders, started with a complete audit of the functionality we required, then moved to an examination of all available solutions.”

According to Jacobs, Autotask was selected on the basis of the following criteria:
- A ticketing system with escalation and client visibility through the Client Access Portal
- Integration with the systems Netsurit already uses, including Level Platforms’ Managed Workplace and QuoteWerks’ quoting solution
- A project management system that includes issues management and project lifecycle
- Meeting dozens of other key functionality criteria identified by Netsurit
Netsurit went live with Autotask on June 2. “We now have 160 clients logging their tickets through the Client Access Portal and approximately 120 internal users taking advantage of Autotask,” said Jacobs.
“Three factors made Autotask easy to adopt once the selection was made,” Jacobs said. “First, Autotask’s training materials are very good. Second, Netsurit insisted that everyone go through the training materials. Finally, the entire company and our clients were enthusiastically backing the change.”
